Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (GNFC) is an Indian company that manufactures and markets fertilizer and industrial chemicals. The company was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. GNFC is a public company listed on the National Stock Exchange of India and the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company has annual sales of over Rs. 10 billion and employs over 2,000 people. GNFC’s products include urea, ammonia, di-ammonium phosphate, Muriate of Potash (MOP), and complex fertilizers. The company also manufactures and markets industrial chemicals such as caustic soda, chlorine, and hydrochloric acid. GNFC has a network of over 5,000 dealers and distributors across India. The company has two manufacturing plants, one in Gujarat and one in Madhya Pradesh. GNFC is also involved in the development of infrastructure projects such as the Narmada Canal and the Sardar Sarovar Dam. The company has a joint venture with the Government of Gujarat for the development of the Narmada Canal. GNFC has also been awarded the contract for the construction of the Sardar Sarovar Dam.
