HOUSTON, Jan. 17, 2024 — Talos Energy Inc. (“Talos” or the “Company”) (NYSE: TALO) today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of $300.0 million of shares of its common stock, par value $0.01 per share (“common stock”). The Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase $45.0 million of additional shares of its common stock.
The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to fund a portion of the previously announced acquisition of QuarterNorth Energy Inc. (the “QuarterNorth Acquisition”). In the event that the QuarterNorth Acquisition is not completed, the proceeds from this offering will be used for general corporate purposes.
