The Central Provinces Railways Company Limited

The Central Provinces Railways Company Limited (CPRC) was a railway company in India. It operated in the Central Provinces and Berar region.

The company was formed in 1871, and the first section of the railway opened in 1874. The CPRC was amalgamated with the East Indian Railway Company in 1951.

The CPRC operated 1,600 miles (2,560 km) of track and employed 13,000 people. It had its headquarters in Nagpur.

The CPRC had a wide range of products and services, including passenger and freight services, and engineering and maintenance services.

The CPRC was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
